As a lead hands-on Portfolio Manager, the primary responsibility will be to form, mentor, and lead trading teams.
For this role, we're looking for someone with a proven track record of building high-performing trading teams, identifying and nurturing top talent, spotting potential early on, effectively managing a trading book, and consistently driving strong performance.
Responsibilities:
● Attract, form, and lead high-performing trading teams. Serve as a mentor, providing strategic guidance and ensuring alignment with the company’s vision and goals.
● Leverage strong technical background to introduce new tools and strategies in algorithmic trading.
● Stay ahead of market trends, adapting trading tools and strategies to remain competitive and drive optimal results.
● Work closely with traders, developers, and other stakeholders to create an environment where innovation and market adaptation are key.
● Encourage and allow traders the freedom to explore new strategies, offering support and mentorship as needed.
● Create a competitive and attractive environment for traders by developing long-term incentive systems, collaborating with quant researchers, and managing resource planning to support team growth and performance.
